The cbt clinic provides regular training events suitable for students, counsellors and allied health care professionals who want to learn more about CBT.

These events are lead by Sarah Bateup.  Sarah has over 25 years experience in mental health and has worked as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist since 1994. She works as an Associate Lecturer with the Open University and teaches at London teaching hospital. She has a wealth of experience in training and supervising clinicians (nurses, doctors etc), students and counsellors.

All training courses are based on Sarah's theory that most people learn best by practising and experiencing clinical concepts and techniques for themselves.  Therefore all courses and workshops are predominantly experiential in nature.

Sarah runs a 12 week experiential course and a number of one day workshops and masterclasses.

Supervision

Sarah is available for 1:1 clinical supervision.

Sarah also runs a group supervision session, once a fortnight.  This is predominantly for clinicians, students and counsellors who are learning CBT.

Cost

1:1 supervision - £40.00/hour

Group supervision - £50.00/six  90 minute sessions
